Later this week, Epic Games is launching Lego Brick Life, a roleplaying game reminiscent of GTA, right within Fortnite. Brick Life invites you and over 20 other players to socialize, earn money, purchase homes, and celebrate together in this vibrant new world.
After I saw the trailer, I immediately knew what the team from Fortnite was doing. They were trolling GTA. We all know the famous meme by now. Insert odd experiences found in the world and then say before GTA 6. So, many funny MEMEs came out of that idea and it seems like Fortnite has taken that idea and ran away with it.
This brightly designed and excellent-looking world the Fortnite team has crafted has clearly been inspired by the MEME, but it seems like it is much more than meets the eye.
The Fortnite team has crafted what could be the perfect homage to one of the greatest gaming franchises in the world. And in doing so, they may have just struck gold and created the biggest competitor to GTA 6 that has ever been. Fans are buzzing with excitement as the game incorporates elements that appeal to both the Fortnite community and the classic gaming audience. As players dive into this new experience, many are eagerly speculating about how it will impact the market, especially with the looming GTA 6 launch date details making headlines. With innovative gameplay and stunning graphics, this homage could reshape the landscape of open-world gaming.
Last year, Epic added four new games to Fortnite, its popular battle royale that’s evolved into more of a Roblox-like platform. One of these free games was Lego Fortnite, a Minecraft-like co-op survival sandbox that became one of the most popular non-battle royale games in Fortnite.
Now, about 12 months later, Epic is adding a whole new Lego-themed game to Fortnite that looks to be directly inspired by The Sims and GTA role-play servers.
On December 9, Epic announced that Lego Brick Life will be released on December 12 as a free game in Fortnite. It will be available on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Switch in all countries where Fortnite is available, with the exception of South Korea.
In Brick Life, you’ll be able to work various jobs to earn money that you can spend on buying a house, decorations, clothes, and more. Players will be able to hang out with friends and use text chat to communicate while living in a bricky new city filled with things to do and a day-night cycle. The game will support drivable vehicles and hoverboards, too.
Yeah, Epic is definitely targeting teens and kids who love GTA roleplay servers and the Grand Theft Auto series with this new game mode. And that makes sense. Roleplay servers in Roblox, Fortnite, and GTA V are incredibly popular.
The kids love living out the fantasy of having a stable job and owning a home in a world without worrying about healthcare costs.
Brick Life launches on December 12 in Fortnite. Meanwhile, the original Lego Fortnite mode is also being rebranded, expanded, and improved.
