ZTE Blade V10 Smartphone Review and Buyer’s Guide

The ZTE Blade V10 smartphone right off the box has cool specifications like great storage space, and a great camera is impressive for a phone with that low cost compared to the other devices in that range.

Especially with the bad representations that low-cost smartphones get, the ZTE Blade V10 clearly puts all doubt to rest and performs exceedingly better than its competitions.

Design

With the ZTE Blade V10, you are getting a  6.3 inch 1080p screen and nice curve edges with good weight distribution from the top to the bottom of the device. It comes with a sim ejection tool and a phone case to save your phone’s exterior from scratches.

The right-hand side of the ZTE Blade V10 has this nice red-coloured power button and the volume button, which is spaced very well.

You have a SIM card tray on the left hand, but you can also put a micro SD card and expand storage up to 2 terabytes. At the bottom, it has a noise-cancelling microphone and a Type C charging port.

The back of the ZTE Blade V10 looks like a glass panel, but it is glossy plastic.

The dual-camera setup is a 16 megapixel F 1.8 aperture camera and a secondary 5 megapixel F 2.2 aperture. The LED flash protrudes out from the back of the ZTE Blade V10.

Display

The ZTE Blade V10  has a six-point three-inch large display and a 19 by 9 aspect ratio on full HD. It has a 1080p panel with 401 pixels per inch, so 20 to 80 by 1080 resolution, so naturally, the wallpapers looks great. It has a nice colour reproduction.

Performance

The ZTE Blade V10 has facial recognition, and it works extremely well compared to some higher-end flagship phones.

You can hide the on-screen buttons by swiping up, the on-screen buttons will appear, and then there’s a little arrow to the far left-hand side; you just press on that arrow, and it will go ahead and disable or hide the on-screen buttons.

The DTS audio feature makes a huge difference when you are playing games, watching movies and listening to music.

It really enhances the audio experience. There are ways to customise this feature so you can get the perfect audio coming from the single down-firing speaker and with your headphones to jack, so if you are using the headphones, it would sound just like the single down-firing speaker.

Battery life

The battery life is a 3200 milliamp power non-removable battery which means you can use it heavily, which is fantastic.

The ZTE Blade V10 does not take that long to charge with its type C charging cable.

Features

  • It has good audio features with its single down-firing speaker.
  • There is a fingerprint reader on the side of the screen.
  • There is a fingerprint sensor, and you can also use it to open apps or take a selfie.
  • The upper left-hand corner has an LED notification light.

Pros

  • The camera setup is good.
  • The fingerprint sensor works extremely well.
  • The battery life is good.
  • Good security features.

How much is the ZTE Blade V10

It cost about $179.

Is the ZTE Blade V10 Worth Buying?

The ZTE Blade V10 is comfortable to carry, and it has good display features. The camera setup is also really good, and battery life is solid; it also has the standard features you would expect from an android phone.

For its price compared to other phones in its range, I would say the ZTE Blade V10 is worth trying out if you are looking to get a new phone.

Conclusion

If you are looking to get a cheap and reliable smartphone with some decent features, you might want to consider the ZTE Blade V10.

Although, in terms of top of the range features, it’s far behind the flagship smartphones like Google Pixel 6, the Apple iPhones and other top smartphones.
